Annual Camp 2015: Day 1

 Annual Camp of NSS, IIT Kharagpur started on 28-11-2015 in the village Purba Bhurkundi. The place is about 8.5 KM from the campus. The activity area of NSS volunteers cover three villages, Madhabpur, Purba Bhurkundi and Kuchlatari. S.D.O., Kharagpur inaugurated the function by hoisting of national flag. The villagers, specially the members of Kabiguru Club helped the student volunteers in getting acquainted with the villages, taking them to work place etc. The villagers marked few of their households if some students needed to relieve themselves. It is this cooperation and goodwill of all concerned are to give the young students to do something meaningful during their camp days and educate and enrich themselves in the process.

It starts from boarding of buses from Technology Students Gymkhana from 6:15 AM in the morning, camp inauguration, glimpse of village survey work, awareness rally by the NSS volunteers.
