Annual Camp : Some activities on Day 3

A short visit to NSS Annual Camp this morning showed following activities going on in camp site and three work areas. The students were found to enjoy their work, the smiles on their faces told it all and were discussing what development initiatives can be taken up there e.g. one brought the issue of drinking water scarcity and what can be done for that. The direct interaction gives a different world of experience to them which is so much different from IIT Kharagpur campus life or the way they have grown up so far. It was also interesting to see how they are able to solve different problems by their presence of mind, how they are able to work in team, how they are able to lead. Scarcity of resources, difficulties confronted are the last things in their mind. Like every other year, this year's camp too is going to be one of the most memorable experience for all of them.
