Water logging
around a tube well within the premises of Shishu Shiksha Kendra (SSK) of Sholadahar
has been a nuisance over the last few years.
Broken main gate of the SSK was also an eyesore. Unit 15 volunteers under the leadership of their
Program Officer, Professor VR Desai, requested the Vice Chairman Prof S
Chakraborty and Mr S Biswas, Executive Engineer (IIT Kharagpur Civil Construction
and Maintenance), and Mr A Das (Junior Engineer also of CCM IIT Kharagpur). Their combined efforts resulted in both the
issues related to water logging and broken main gate of Sholadahar SSK was
nicely addressed by March 28, 2016.
