Responsibility
The new year starts with an humbling experience. Mrs. R. Vimala, IAS, SDO, Kharagpur wrote to us and we got an important responsibility, an opportunity to get involved in a flagship welfare program of the Govt. of West Bengal that is targeted towards under-privileged girl students. The institute is approached by Chief Secretary, Govt. of West Bengal in another initiative related to tribal welfare. There too, we understand that we have a role to play.
We all are enthused and wish that the new year gives us the necessary strength and resolve to live up to the expectation. Through this post we seek support, good wish and blessings of all. After all the ground work done by the NSS, IIT Kharagpur team of student and faculty in previous years, there is this call to take up greater responsibility. We hope and pray that we shall be able and effective.
